The slender schools colorful group includes the family Caesionidae (fusiliers) and Subfamily Anthiinae (anthiases) within the family Serranidae (seabasses). These two families are not closely related, but species within both of these groups tend to be colorful; possess a slender, streamlined body shape; and swim in schools.
