Reef-associated eels I’ve photographed in Guam’s waters include species in the families Congridae (conger and garden eels), Muraenidae (moray eels), and Ophichthidae (snake and worm eels). Species from several other eel families have also been reported from the Mariana Islands, including species in the families Moringuidae (spaghetti eels), Chlopsidae (false morays), Synaphobranchidae (cutthroat eels), and Muraenesocidae (pike eels).
